Meet the Owner

Eric Jones, CEO and Founder of BuyandHoldRE.com, has a wide and varied history in real estate. Beginning in 2007, Eric began his real estate career in property management at the very bottom as a leasing consultant. Truth be told, real estate was never a career Eric considered. However, the apartment community he lived in while in college was hiring and he decided to apply for a super "easy job" (or so he thought). After working for the company for a little over a year, Eric moved up to Assistant Property Manager.

After only three years with the company, Eric moved to the Corporate level as the Marketing Coordinator for the company. He held this position for seven years where he introduced multiple social media channels to the entire portfolio of 7,000+ units, was a company trainer and motivational speaker, and was part of the marketing team that won the Best Social Media Campaign and Best Website awards at the 2015 Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Apartment Association Prestige Awards; an awards presentation held only every ten years.

While in his last year of employment at the property management company, Eric obtained his real estate licensed in the state of Ohio. He then set off on his career in real estate sales. After a few months and a few transactions later, he began a career with a turnkey real estate investing company based out of Dayton, OH. Here, Eric was the Director of Sales and Marketing developing the turnkey brand, implementing sales processes, setting up social media accounts and campaign, and later helping to start-up the company's property management company. In addition, Eric was a large part in building out the company's renovation company including their specific roofing division.

Although Eric's career with the turnkey company was lucrative and gave him the ability to grow within a successful start-up, he had ideas and saw an opportunity in the market. Really, it was a solution that just didn't exist. So many investors want to invest in real estate outside the market where they live - whether it be for buy and hold, fix and flip, or short-term vacation rentals - but there just wasn't one source they could go to find the best real estate agent, the best turnkey companies, and the best educational content in investing in real estate estate. Thus, BuyandHoldRE.com was born.
